Dear Joan, I have heard that Cockers tend to be snappy even with their own owners and you just need to muzzle your girl. Perhaps also offer some treats when cleaning her ears ! Shirley

My neighbor leaves her shepherd in the yard around five in the morning and we wake up to the sound of loud howling almost every day. I really love dogs and don't want to report them to Animal Control. Do you have any suggestions for us ? Thanks ! I also think it is too warm to leave a dog out in the yard at any time of the day and feel very sorry about this state of affairs. Mimi in W. Va.
